Authorities ID Man Shot Dead In Attempted Trenton Robbery A man was shot and killed following an attempted robbery in Trenton Monday night, authorities said. Police responding to a Shot Spotter activation near the 400 block of West Hanover Street found Fred Davis, 43, with a gunshot wound just before 9 p.m., Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said in a joint release. Davis was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center and pronounced dead a short time later, authorities said. Motorcyclist, 26, Seriously Hurt In Head-On Crash With SUV In Sussex County A motorcyclist was seriously injured after crashing head-on into an SUV in Sussex County Sunday afternoon, state police said. Dakotah Lewis, 26, was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle southbound on Route 23 when he crossed over into the northbound lanes and crashed head-on into a Ford Explorer near milepost 48 in Wantage Township just before 1:20 p.m., WRNJRadio reports citing NJSP Trooper Alejandro Goez. Lewis, of Highland Mills, suffered serious injuries, while the Ford driver and passenger suffered minor injuries in the crash, which remains under investigation, Goez said.

Gilberto Morales of Summit Avenue was found guilty of a three-count indictment Friday in Warren County Superior Court, Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said. Morales was convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a victim under 13, sexual assault of a victim under 13 with the defendant four years older, and endangering the welfare of a child, Pfeiffer said.
