An (almost) lifelong Westchester resident, Sam has reported on all facets of Westchester since he graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in print journalism, including stints at North County News and The Examiner. A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Westchester Diner Demolished To Make Room For Honda Service Center WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- It was officially the end of an era in Tarrytown. The El Dorado Diner, which closed in February, was demolished, to make room for a 23,168 square foot Honda service center. Honda has a dealership across the street. The diner was an institution on South Broadway, having previously been a Howard Johnson's.  El Dorado still has locations in Elmsford and Scarsdale.

NTSB Will Announce Fatal Metro-North Crash Investigation Results VALHALLA, N.Y. -- There may finally be some answers into what happened in the deadly Metro-North Valhalla train crash.The National Transportation Safety Board will be meeting on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. and again at 1:30 p.m. in Washington D.C. to discuss its investigation and determine the probable cause of the Feb. 2015 train crash, which killed six and injured 15.
