The Chase Bank branch recently opened in town at 1975 Commerce Street, the site of Empire Hunan, the Chinese restaurant. Chase purchased the property for $3.2 million according to Yorktown News. The Chase branch at 2035 Crompond Road has closed and the branch at 2002 Commerce Street will close at the end of the month. A Verizon store will replace the bank at Crompond Road, according to Yorktown News.

According to financial disclosure forms that representatives are required to file, Lowey and her husband, David, have assets between $11 million and $44 million, with between $1 million and $5 million in their checking accounts. In 2014, Lowey was ranked as the 17th wealthiest member of Congress, according to the New York Post. On the flipside, Eliot Engel, who represents Southern Westchester, owes between $10,000 and $15,000 on a Visa credit card, according to the Post.

The school held its commencement ceremonies at Dutchess Stadium in Fishkill, graduating 777 seniors. The valedictorian was Michelle Kim while the salutatorian was Sobana Balasubramanian.
