Yorktown Man Kicks, Slaps Woman, Police Say YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A 40-year-old Yorktown man was arrested Wednesday morning after police say he attempted to cause physical injury by kicking and slapping a woman during a domestic dispute. Joseph Franco was charged with attempted assault in the third degree for the incident that occurred at a home on Mohansic Avenue.
