An (almost) lifelong Westchester resident, Sam has reported on all facets of Westchester since he graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in print journalism, including stints at North County News and The Examiner. The poll, conducted by Marist, PBS News Hour and National Public Radio, found that 51 percent of voters disapprove of the president, with 37 percent approving of his job. Among independents, Trump has a 59 percent disapproval rating and a 31 percent approval rating. Trump remains strong with his Republican base with an 80 percent approval rating.
