Carmel Man Involved In Crash Drove With Revoked License, Yorktown PD Says MOHEGAN LAKE, N.Y. -- A Carmel man was arrested and charged Tuesday night after a collision in front of the Mohegan Diner. Tsedai Shearer, 26, was charged with driving with a revoked license, a second-degree misdemeanor after police investigated the car wreck, which caused property damage, police said. Shearer was arrested at the scene and transported back to headquarters, police said. He was released on $100 cash bail and is due back in court on July 20.

Ex-Mahopac Fire Treasurer Sentenced To Prison For Embezzling Millions MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- Michael Klein, the former treasurer of the Mahopac Fire Department, was sentenced to 77 months (more than six years) in prison Wednesday for embezzling more than $5.7 million from the department and failing to report the income to the IRS. Klein, 49, lavished the embezzled money on himself, buying yachts, jewelry, and a second home in Florida, and then failed to report any of it on his tax returns, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
