A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Andrew Cuomo signed a bill into law Tuesday raising the minimum age to marry to age 17.The law also strengthens the process to obtain court approval for a marriage of minors at least 17 but under 18 years of age. The minimum age to marry in New York State under the previous law was 14.  A 14- or 15-year old could marry with parental consent and court approval while a 16- or 17-year old could marry with parental consent. Ossining Teen Taken In Custody By ICE Moved To Louisiana Detention Facility Diego Puma Macancela, the 19-year-old former Ossining High School student detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement nearly two weeks ago, has been moved to a detention facility in Louisiana. The move was confirmed by Neighbors Link, the Mount Kisco-based organization that is representing him. Macancela had been detained at the Orange County Correctional Facility with his mother. His mother was moved to a different facility in Louisiana. Man Grabs Throat Of Girlfriend During Assault In Yorktown, Police Say YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A man was arrested in Yorktown following a domestic incident in which Yorktown Police say he forcibly grabbed the throat of his victim when he assaulted her Monday night. David Collins, a 48-year-old Pennsylvania resident was charged with assault in the third degree, a Class A misdemeanor, and criminal obstruction of breathing, a Class A misdemeanor.  Collins also caused an injury to her hand, police said.
