Numerous Cuomo Aides Investigated In Federal Probe A number of aides close to Gov. Andrew Cuomo were investigated as federal attorneys looked into upstate development deals to determine if criminal activity took place, according to the Albany Times Union. Eight people were indicted on federal corruption and bribery charges by then-US Attorney Preet Bharara but many Cuomo aides, who were not indicted, were also investigated, including having their banking, email and phone records searched and subpoenaed, according to the Times Union. Yorktown Man Threatens Victim With Firearm, Police Say YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A 45-year-old Yorktown man was arrested and charged after he allegedly threatened someone with a firearm, Yorktown Police said. Joseph Porticelli was charged with menacing in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor after police arrested him in Cortlandt Manor and transferred him to headquarters. He was released on $200 bail and a temporary order of protection was issued for the victim. He is due back in court on June 6.

Three Caught After Stealing $1.4K From CVS, Yorktown Police Say Three men already in custody in Putnam County were arrested and charged Thursday with grand larceny after Yorktown Police said they stole $1,462.13 worth of merchandise from CVS on Commerce Street in April. Rasheem Smith, a 28-year-old Brooklyn resident, Jose More, a 32-year-old resident of the Bronx, and Keya Wilmont, a 29-year-old and also a resident of the Bronx, were charged with the Class E felony.
