Bailey, who was a minister at United Methodist Churches in White Plains and Mamaroneck, serving as fire chaplain for the Mamaroneck Volunteer Fire Department, died May 22 with his family by his side.  Born on Nov. 20, 1917, in Vermont, Bailey graduated from Rutland High School and later attended Syracuse University where he ran track and cross country.
