Sleepy Hollow Fire Department Battles Box Truck Blaze SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- The Sleepy Hollow Fire Department was on the scene of a box truck fire Monday night. The fire occurred at 6:20 p.m. at North Broadway and Bedford Road. Firefighters arrived on scene and found the fire extending from the passenger rear wheel area to a fiberglass box, according to the Sleepy Hollow Fire Department. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze and found the fire was caused by passenger rear brakes not releasing manually, according to the Sleepy Hollow Fire Department. The South Tarrytown Fire Department provided assistance.

Hawthorne's Crossfit XT Performs Exercises For Autism HAWTHORNE, N.Y. -- More than 50 athletes came together at Crossfit XT in Hawthorne to help raise funds and awareness of autism. The Lift Up Autism fundraiser was held at more than 650 crossfit gyms across the country. After making a donation, athletes were given five minutes to perform as many rounds and repetitions of specific exercises as possible. Each round consisted of 4 Power Cleans, 24 Double-Unders (having the rope pass twice beneath your feet for each jump) and 10 Pull-Ups. The event culminated in the athletes having a barbecue.
