Putnam County Legislature Appoints New Chairman PUTNAM COUNTY N.Y. -- Joe Castellano is now leading the Putnam County Legislature. In a 9-0 vote, Joe Castellano, a Southeast resident who has served on the board since 2012, was voted in as chairman while Toni Addonzio was named deputy chairwoman. Castellano, who is running for a third term this year, replaces Ginny Nacerino.  Addonizio, a Kent resident, is starting her second term.

Bernice Feldman, 94, Briarcliff Native Bernice K. Feldman, a resident of Briarcliff Manor for more than 50 years, died on Jan. 6 in Texas. She was 94.
