A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Westchester Resident, ESPN Radio Programmer, Hosts Fordham Students NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. -- Justin Craig, a Cortlandt Manor resident and program director of ESPN NY Radio invited Fordham University students on a studio tour Wednesday. The students were from Chappaqua resident John Cirillo's sports communication class. The students had an in-studio visit with Michael Kay and his co-hosts Don LaGreca and Peter Rosenberg.  Kay gave an on-air shout out to the students on his show. Cirillo has been adjunct professor at Fordham since 1997.

Briarcliff Police Chief Suspended BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- Norman Campion, the police chief of the Village of Briarcliff Manor, has been suspended. Campion's suspension was approved at Wednesday's village board meeting. The board adjourned the meeting and reconvened as the Board of Police Commissioners to approve the suspension, according to the agenda. Lt. Pipelines Opponents Hold Standoff In Cortlandt CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. -- Opponents of the Spectra Algonquin pipeline continued their protesting Thursday by standing in front of construction crews. Nancy Vann stood within 300 feet where construction crews were clearing trees to make for the way for the pipeline. Worker crews could not proceed with their work due to safety guidelines. Former Mrs. Westchester Pleads Guilty To Stealing Money MOHEGAN LAKE, N.Y. -- Jennifer Czarniecki, a Mohegan Lake resident who was crowned Mrs. Westchester in 2014, pleaded guilty to stealing money from a group home in Granite Springs where she worked Wednesday. Czarniecki, 31, agreed to pay back $8,200 to Living Resources, according to News12.  At Living Resources, Czarniecki was residential head manager. LaColla Declared Winner In Fishkill Supervisor Race FISHKILL, N.Y. -- Bob LaColla has been elected to a second term as Supervisor of Fishkill, though his opponent is not conceding. Absentee ballots were counted Thursday afternoon by the Dutchess County Board of Elections and LaColla, a Republican, defeated Ozzy Albra, a Democrat by 13 votes, 1,669 to 1,656.
