LaColla Declared Winner In Fishkill Supervisor Race FISHKILL, N.Y. -- Bob LaColla has been elected to a second term as Supervisor of Fishkill, though his opponent is not conceding. Absentee ballots were counted Thursday afternoon by the Dutchess County Board of Elections and LaColla, a Republican, defeated Ozzy Albra, a Democrat by 13 votes, 1,669 to 1,656. Costco Gets Go-Ahead In Yorktown YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- The Yorktown Planning Board has given its final approvals to Costco.  The planning board voted unanimously on Monday to approve the wholesale club's $60 million plans in Yorktown. Located on Route 202 at 3200 Crompond Road (just west of the Mobil station at the intersection of Mohansic Avenue), plans call for a 151,000-square foot building for the members only wholesale club that will also feature a gas station. Woman Rescued On Breakneck Ridge PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- A 23-year-old hiker had to be rescued by firefighters after falling while hiking Breakneck Ridge Sunday. The woman was hiking at about 4:50 p.m., when she slipped on a rock and fell, injuring her back, according to LoHud.  According to Cold Spring Fire Chief Joshua Dinardo, firefighters had to use ropes to lower her down the trail due to the steep and rocky terrain. The rescue took about two hours.

Three Jet Skiers Rescued From Hudson River PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Two people helped rescue three jet skiers from the Hudson River Sunday afternoon. At 5 p.m., near Riverfront Green park, Brian Calabro was at Peekskill Yacht Club when he saw three men floating in the water, according to LoHud.  Calabro and John Ricci, a Cortlandt Manor resident, hopped into a motorboat and went to rescue the three men who were hanging onto a capsized jet ski. The three men were pulled out of the water, according to LoHud. The three men appeared to be okay and were treated by paramedics at the scene, according to LoHud.

For the second time in two months, Tendy defeated two-term incumbent Adam Levy on Tuesday, 7,621 votes to 5,756 votes, 56.82 percent to 42.92 percent. Tendy had defeated Levy in September in the Republican primary. Levy ran on several third party lines.
