Tendy Defeats Levy Again, This Time Clinching Putnam District Attorney Post PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Bob Tendy has done it again. The Putnam Valley Supervisor, who defeated Adam Levy in the Putnam County Republican District Attorney primary, again downed the incumbent, this time running as an Independent. Tendy leads Levy 7,621 votes to 5,756 votes, 56.82 percent to 42.92 percent, according to unofficial results from the Putnam County Board of Elections. Levy issued a statement conceding defeat late Tuesday night. Tendy ran on the Republican line after defeating Levy in a September primary. Levy ran on the Conservative, Reform, and Independence lines.
