Accident On 9A Kills Peekskill Guidance Counselor PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Lenroy Stevens, a 27-year-old Peekskill High School guidance counselor, was killed Tuesday after being struck by a truck on Route 9A in Briarcliff. The truck was traveling northbound on 9A in the left lane at 3:30 p.m. when it lost control and mounted the center guardrail and encroached into the left lane of southbound 9A, according to Mount Pleasant Police Chief Paul Oliva.
