Fairfield Police Arrest Bridgeport Man On Drug, Weapons Charges FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Fairfield police arrested a Bridgeport man on multiple charges Thursday after a traffic stop turned up cocaine packaged for sale and a club, police said. Officers stopped a car driven by Christian H. Avellino on Grasmere Avenue in Fairfield because it appeared to be unregistered, according to police. Pumpkin Patch preschool is located nearby.  Avellino was found to be in possession of cocaine packaged ready for sale, THC oil and a blackjacklike club, police said.
