Harold 'Ritz' Wahnowsky, 89, Stamford Resident, Supervisor At Pitney-Bowes STAMFORD, Conn. -- Harold "Ritz" Wahnowsky died Monday, Oct. 5, at Stamford Hospital. Wahnowsky was born Sept. 9, 1926, in Stamford to Klement and Pauline (Bodick) Wahnowsky.  He graduated from Stamford High School in 1944. He served in and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy during World War II. He returned to Stamford and worked more than 40 years as a supervisor in production control for Pitney-Bowes.  For many years he was a member of the Stamford Boys Club and served as a counselor and cook at its summer camp.
