Darien Registrar Reminds Residents To Register To Vote DARIEN, Conn. -- In preparation for the Nov. 3 election, the Darien Registrars of Voters will prepare a preliminary registration list Tuesday.  If you want to register to vote or update your voter registration there are now three ways to do it:  Google the Connecticut secretary of state and go to voter Information — you can do everything online. Call the registrar's office at 203-656 7316. Visit the office at Town Hall. There are multiple candidates for first selectman and selectmen.

Report Finds Lax Oversight Of Student Grade Changes A study by state Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli's office found that five school districts were lax about keeping track of changes to students' grades, according to a report in State of Politics. The study also found a sixth district had kept no history of altered grades at all, State of Politics reported.  The five districts that had little oversight were Arlington, Elmira, Fairport, Freeport and Saratoga Springs; the district that didn't keep track at all was Williamsville, according to State of Politics.  To read the full report, click here.
