Mount Vernon Woman Faces Murder Charge In March Shooting MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Authorities have charged a 35-year-old Mount Vernon woman in a fatal shooting in the Bronx, according to a report by News 12 Westchester. Prosecutors have charged Sarita Richardson with murder and conspiracy to commit murder in a double shooting that took place on Murdock Avenue in March, News 12 Westchester reported.
