SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. --Twenty years from the date the General Motors assembly plant in Sleepy Hollow ceased operations, government officials, community leaders and executives from the joint venture of SunCal and Diversified Realty Advisors gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking for Edge-On-Hudson, a nearly 70-acre waterfront development valued at over $1 billion. EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Eastchester Middle School Eighth Grade Band, under the direction of music teacher Mark Dodge, earned a gold rating at the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Majors Festival. Walden Man Charged In Assault Of Eight-Month-Old Son
WALDEN, N.Y. -- The Orange County Child Abuse Unit arrested a 25-year-old man on assault and child endangerment charges on Tuesday, May 17. State Police charged Alban Rowe of Walden following a report to the New York State Child Abuse Hotline. An investigation revealed that Rowe, who was caring for his eight-month-old son had caused physical injuries to several areas on his son’s body. Upon noticing the injuries, the child’s mother brought her son to the hospital and the hospital staff contacted the Child Abuse Hotline.
