Walden Man Charged In Assault Of Eight-Month-Old Son WALDEN, N.Y. -- The Orange County Child Abuse Unit arrested a 25-year-old man on assault and child endangerment charges on Tuesday, May 17. State Police charged Alban Rowe of Walden following a report to the New York State Child Abuse Hotline. An investigation revealed that Rowe, who was caring for his eight-month-old son had caused physical injuries to several areas on his son’s body. Upon noticing the injuries, the child’s mother brought her son to the hospital and the hospital staff contacted the Child Abuse Hotline.
