Meeting Of The Minds Conference Draws 400 To Tarrytown TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- The Second Annual Meeting of the Minds Dementia Conference held May 13 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Tarrytown drew nearly 400 guests. Eastchester Kids Perform Original Play, 'Into the Underland' EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Students in Eastchester will be peforming a play "Into the Underland" loosely based on "Gregor the Overlander," a book series students had read as a part of their book club. Ramapo Police Arrest Theft Suspect RAMAPO, N.Y. -- A Suffern resident was arrested by Ramapo police in connection with a theft from a pharmacy on Wednesday. A 39-year-old male entered the store about 3 p.m. and stole seven packages of Claritin, concealing them in his sweatshirt pocket. police said. Police responded and the suspect was arrested, arraigned, and released pending a June date in Montebello Justice Court. Sleepy Hollow Science Teacher Participates In National Convention SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- Leana Peltier, an AP biology teacher at Sleepy Hollow High School, has participated for the past two years in the Mercy College Wipro Science Education Fellowship program.
