Chappaqua Rotary Donates $1,000 To Local Habitat Home
CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- The Chappaqua Rotary recently donated $1,000 to Habitat for Humanity's new local project, which is at 300 King St. in downtown Chappaqua."This is a great start to our project," said Jim Killoran, CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Westchester. “We are building two condos out of an old structure, and the Rotary was right there to help.”
Habitat invites people to build at its builders camp and on-site and to help sponsor windows, doors, etc. to help this project move ahead.

The Putnam Valley Central School District’s School budget is $32,657 less than last year and the tax levy has been reduced by $100,000. That reduction added to last year’s Tax reduction brings us $281,000 less than the 2014-15 budget year.

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- ShopRite Supermarkets, Inc. (SRS) recently presented a check for $183,500 to Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network.
