Irvington Academic Challenge Team Takes On National History Competition
IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- Four Irvington High School students, who are history buffs and members of the Academic Challenge team, will be competing at the 2016 National History Bowl Varsity National Championship, which will be held in Arlington, Va., on Saturday, April 23. The team members, senior Connor Winton, juniors Max Kerner and Jordan Schwed and freshman Rishikesh Madabhushi, qualified for the national history quiz competition after a strong performance at the Lower Hudson History Bee and Bowl Tournament, which was held in December at White Plains High School.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- For the third year in a row, the Fairfield Public Library is celebrating Money Smart Week, a national initiative to further financial literacy. During Money Smart Week from April 23 to April 30, the library is offering several programs and is extending the learning with program offerings throughout the month.
