Gertrude Guisti, 90, Of Tarrytown
TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- Gertrude Guisti, a lifelong resident of Tarrytown, died Monday, April 18, at the age of 90. Born in North Tarrytown on Dec. 15, 1925, she was the daughter of Natale and Filomena Valerino Galassi. Many people may remember her from the hot dog wagon she operated on Valley Street across from the former Frank's Chevrolet. She had been a member of the Tarrytown Seniors, the Senior Nutrition Program and the Transfiguration Seniors.
She loved bingo, playing poker and trips to Atlantic City.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The Hudson Gateway Realtor Foundation, a division of the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors (HGAR), is hosting a “Red Carpet Spectacular” Cocktail Party on Thursday, May 5, from 6 to 10 p.m., at the Clubhouse at Patriot Hills in Stony Point. The event will benefit Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley, a non-profit group that grants the wishes of Hudson Valley children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Lucy (Castiglione) Valente, 89, Of Yonkers
YONKERS, N.Y. -- Lucy Valente (nee Castiglione), a lifelong Yonkers resident, died Monday, April 18, at Andrus on Hudson. She was 89. She was born July 5, 1926, to Angelo and Jennie DiDonato Castiglione in Yonkers, where she was raised and educated. She was a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. On March 27, 1955, she married Raymond J. Valente at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
She is survived by one sister, Anna Bova of Yonkers; and several nieces and nephews.

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Josephine D. (nee Hnath) Stenavage of Yonkers died Monday, April 18. She was 95. She was the wife of the late Stanley E. Stenavage; mother of Janice (Robert) Heath and Steven (Lu) Stenavage; grandmother of Scott and Brian Heath and Steven and the late Jennifer Stenavage; and the great-grandmother of four.
