Spring Antiques Show Benefits Wilton Historical Society
WILTON, Conn. — The Wilton Spring Antiques Show will open its doors on Saturday, April 16, and Sunday, April 17, for a weekend of treasure hunting, discovery and fun. The event is hosted by the Wilton Historical Society and Barn Star Productions and held at the Wilton High School Field House. RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Join Shir Shalom in Ridgefield and The Federation for Jewish Philanthropy for the story behind a Yiddish vegetarian food movement in pre-war Eastern Europe when they present a program entitled "Behind the Pages: The Vilna Vegetarian Cookbook" on Tuesday, April 19 at noon. Greenburgh's Tahira Dupree-Chase Named Superintendent To Watch
GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Dr. Tahira Dupree-Chase, Superintendent of the Greenburgh Central School District, has been named among the country’s top 25 Superintendents to Watch in 2015-16 by the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA). She was one of only two New York State superintendents recognized by NSPRA. MONTROSE, N.Y. -- The Social Studies Department at Hendrick Hudson High School has come up with a way to capitalize on the excitement around the NCAA basketball tournament and “March Madness,” while encouraging students to delve into history. The school’s second annual March Madness History Bracket has drawn 172 participants, doubling the number of students since the competition was first introduced last year.
