Orangetown Police Investigate Pearl River Fire ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- Orangetown Police are investigating an early Tuesday morning fire in Pearl River. Fire departments from Pearl River, Orangeburg, West Nyack and Nyack helped extinguish the fire at 45 W. Naurashaun Ave. according to the post The blaze was contained in a detached garage and caused some damage to nearby structures.  The Rockland County Sheriff's Arson Unit and Orangetown Police are investigating though it does not appear suspicious, the police said.

Ramapo Police Respond To Structure Fire In Monsey RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police responded to a fire about 10:30 a.m. Monday on Calvert Drive in Monsey.  A multifamily dwelling was on fire when crews arrived, and all occupants had evacuated safely.
