Soul Singers Visit Katonah Elementary For Three-Day Program LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- Katonah Elementary School’s second- through fifth-graders recently worked with international SOUL Singers as part of a three-day program. Students worked with performers from Albania, Kenya and Malaysia during the program and learned songs and dances that they performed for the entire school and the community. At an assembly showcasing the students’ music, Assistant Principal Terrence Costin thanked the local families who hosted the singers and their manager during the program.

Katonah's American Legion Post 1575 Announces Concert Schedule BEDFORD, N.Y. -- American Legion Post 1575 in Katonah announced their summer event schedule with all concert tickets costing $20. The schedule for concerts includes: The Cameos on June 24; Back To The Garden on July 15; Gunsmoke Aug. 19. For those who buys tickets for all three shows, they will receive a $10 discount. Prospect Hill Flag Dedicated In Pelham PELHAM, N.Y. -- Prinicpal Richard Limato and the Prospect Hill community rededicated and raised a new Prospect Hill flag in memory of Deirdre Sparico, Prospect Hill parent and community activist Wednesday.The flag was originally dedicated in memory of Sparico for her spirit, pride and love for the children of Prospect Hill School on October 5, 1990 by the Pelham Civics Association. The Prospect Hill Parent Teacher Association for covered the cost of the new flag.
