Ryan, former superintendent of Carmel Central School District, has been appointed superintendent of Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES, replacing Dr. James T. Cherry Lane Car Wash Benefits Hi Tor Animal Shelter RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Cherry Lane fifth graders held a car wash this past Saturday to benefit the Hi-Tor Animal Care Center. The students raised $783 for the shelter and had many happy car wash customers.  The gentleman from the classic car club showed up to lend support and Frank Armstrong donated his time to DJ the event, while Patty Roemer-Deluca, Samira Cantor, James Mcevoy and Virginia Ashley made sure the event went off seamlessly.
