Eastchester Middle School Teachers Collaborate On Subjects EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Eastchester Middle School teachers offer students units of study that reflect collaboration among teachers of different subjects.  For example, a unit on Egypt is taught in both social studies and English classes. Art teachers Sarah Simeone and Samantha Larrea then worked on a project that would enhance students understanding of Ancient Egypt. They decided to create canopic jar designs used during the mummification process.
