Arts On The Lake Hosts Kent Fireworks Day Concert
KENT, N.Y. -- The town of Kent's Fireworks Day on Friday, July 3, will feature the band Southeast Station, with Kati Mac, along with several other bands and a fireworks show.
Mac, a seven-time Daytime Emmy Award nominee and singer/composer is a Lake Camel resident.
Festivities kick off at 5 p.m. as part of Fireworks Day, a group effort by the town, the Kent Public Library and Arts on the Lake. AotL will host several bands until Mac and her newest ensemble, Southeast Station, take center stage on the North Lawn at 7:30 p.m.

Mountain Shows Bring Music From Brooklyn To Putnam County
PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Dan Goldberg, a Brooklyn-based experimental musician, has organized a series of concerts called the Mountain Shows outside Cold Spring, according to The New York Times.
The purpose of the shows is to bring musicians and an audience out of New York City to Bull Hill, which is also called Mount Taurus, in the Hudson Highlands, The Times reports.
The group arrives in Cold Spring, then climbs the trail, where musicians perform at spots along the path, according to The Times.

Yorktown's Hart Library Features '8 Of Arts' Exhibit In July
YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- The John C. Hart Memorial Library in Shrub Oak is hosting "8 of Arts," a group art exhibit featuring works by Nancy Anton, Glenda Zuckerman, Barbara Stanton, Celia Teichman, Beth Saffer, Jane Ubell, Mara VanFleet and Franny Saracco, next month.
The opening reception will be Saturday, July 11, from 2-4 p.m.
