Man Injured In Crash That Closed Saw Mill Remains Hospitalized CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. — A man who sustained serious injuries in a car crash Saturday on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Chappaqua was still in the hospital on Monday, according to a report in LoHud.com. The driver's car apparently rolled over and struck a tree about 4 p.m., Saturday, near Roaring Brook Road, which had been closed for construction on the Metro-North Railroad tracks, LoHud reported.  The cause of the crash, which caused heavy delays on the parkway, has not yet been determined, according to LoHud. Dympna (Farrell) Bowles, 92, Longtime New Rochelle Resident NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Dympna (Farrell) Bowles, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died peacefully Saturday, Aug. 1, in Lawrenceville, N.J., at the age of 92. She was born Aug. 15, 1922, to Thomas and Margaret (Hanley) Farrell and grew up in Bective, County Meath. She moved to Belfast, Northern Ireland, where she met Edward Bowles. They married in 1947 and immigrated to New York in 1957. She worked in Macy's in New Rochelle and was very active in St. Gabriel Parish and school activities.
