Dorothy F. Goldman, 79, Mount Vernon Resident MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Dorothy F. Goldman, 79, of Mount Vernon, formerly of Scarsdale, died Monday, Aug. 3, in Mamaroneck. Goldman was born April 1, 1936 , in the Bronx to Morris and Sarah (Rothman) Seletzky. She was married to the late Milton Goldman on June 12, 1955. She is survived by her, daughters Roberta Cohen (Paul) and Arlene Limato (Ronald); and her grandchildren, Ryan and Alex Cohen, and Lauren Limato. She was predeceased by her sister, Anita Weinstein. Harrison's Beecher Flooks Lacrosse Team Goes Undefeated HARRISON, N.Y. -- The Beecher Flooks Funeral Home lacrosse team recently won the championship of the Sound Shore Summer Lacrosse League after an undefeated season.  The team consists of players ranging in age from 20-33. Most games were played at the lacrosse fields at Purchase College-SUNY.  The 8-0 season included the following scores: 15-4 over MUGZ's Bar; 12-4 over DiPietro; 12-8 over Shady Gulls; 10-2 over Beechmont; 9-8 over Gargoyles; 10-9 over American Landscaping; 12-9 over Vinyard Twine; and 9-5 over TS9.

People passing through the park or shopping at the Grand Market on Saturday were able to observe and even participate in the screen printing process and take home a piece of print art.
