Ex-Irvington HS Wrestler Remains Hospitalized After Fatal Helicopter Crash
An Irvington native and West Haverstraw resident who was seriously injured during a fatal Black Hawk helicopter crash on Monday, April 17, in Maryland, has been upgraded from critical to fair and stable condition, according to U.S. Army officials.
Capt. Terikazu Onoda, the company commander, and a 2009 West Point graduate was critically injured when the helicopter crashed at Breton Bay Golf Course in Leonardtown, Maryland, during a training mission, Army officials added.
A fellow officer, Spc. Jeremy Tomlin, 22, of Unionville, N.C., died at the scene, the Army reported.

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Sister Antonia Maguire, 86, a member of the Franciscan Sisters of Peekskill, died Tuesday.
Maguire, born in New York City on March 12, 1931, graduated from PS 52, Cathedral High School and the New York Foundling Hospital School for Infants' Nurses.
Before entering the Franciscan Sisters on Sept. 8, 1957, she worked at the Foundling Hospital and then in the newborn nursery at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.
