Police Resume Search For Woman Who Jumped From Bear Mountain Bridge Dive teams and water rescue units from the Westchester County police have resumed their search Friday for a woman who was seen on a surveillance video jumping from the Bear Mountain Bridge around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. The woman's jump was discovered by New York State Park Police when they reviewed a surveillance video of the bridge around 6 p.m., police said. Poughkeepsie Man Charged In 2015 Murder POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- A City of Poughkeepsie man who is currently serving a seven-year sentence for robbery at the Gowanda Correctional Facility, was charged Friday with the 2015 murder of Shameik Floyd. Trent Yant, 23, was charged with second-degree murder, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of robbery, conspiracy and tampering with physical evidence, said the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department. Police Seize Crack, $2K In Town Of Poughkeepsie Drug Bust DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. --  A Poughkeepsie man was busted for possession of crack cocaine Wednesday during a search of his Innis Avenue home by members of the Dutchess County Drug Task Force.
