PATTERSON, N.Y. -- Nicole O'Brien, 50, of Patterson, died on Tuesday, April 18.
O'Brien was born on Oct. 23, 1966, in the Bronx to Anthony and Rose (Balascio) Campanella. On August 25, 2002, she married William O'Brien, they were married for more than 15 years.
She received an associate's degree from Berkeley Institute and worked for J.J. Sisca & Associates as a property manager.
O'Brien was always doing things for others before herself and was devoted to family and friends. She was active in the Mahopac/Patterson Relay for Life and was the honorary chairperson in 2016.

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Maybe it's one of the neighbors or someone just stopping in for a sandwich, but one lucky person visiting Lane's Deli & Pizza in Stony Point on Saturday, April 8, won a cool $22,591.50 in the Take 5 Lotto.New York Lottery officials said three people matched all five winning numbers in the drawing -- 6, 8, 9, 11, 12 -- including one at Lane's Deli.
The deli, located at 79 Washburns Lane, said it was "great news" for them to have sold a winning ticket.
The Take 5 game takes place every day 11:21 p.m., with the numbers chosen from a field of 39.
Off-Duty Hudson Valley Officer Charged Under Leandra's Law Due In Court
A Spring Valley police officer who was off-duty when he was charged Sunday with DWI under Leandra's Law and drug possession is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, April 27 in the Town of Chester.
Marc Miller, 46, of Nanuet, was arrested after the State Police in Monroe, began receiving 911 calls from concerned drivers about an impaired driver on Route 17, said Trooper Steven Nevel, spokesman for the state police.
Troopers located Miller, a 16-year veteran of the force, at a local gas station in the Town of Chester where he appeared to be disoriented and impaired, Nevel said.
