Man Violates Orders Of Protection To Two Tomkins Cove Homes, Police Say STONY POINT, N.Y. --  A homeless man was charged with violating two protective orders at two Tomkins Cove homes on Sunday after he attempted to send a taxi to one of the homes, according to Stony Point Police. Austin Parks, 46, was charged with two counts of criminal contempt after Stony Point Police located him after he attempted to send a taxi to one of the residences to pick up the protected person, said Lt. Daniel Hylas. Once located, Parks was arraigned and is being held at the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bail, said Hylas.

Car Slams Into Ossining House, Damages Gas Line OSSINING, N.Y. --  A woman, whose gas pedal stuck, drove into a man's home in Ossining on Monday, striking a gas line, said News12. The home's owner told News12 that the car came through a parking lot, across the street and smashed into the foundation of his home, hitting the gas line. Con Edison crews repaired the gas line at the Ramapo Road home, said News12. The homeowner also lost a tree and ended with a hole in the side of his house. The driver was not injured.
