Police are asking for assistance in locating Hartford County resident Diane Alderman, age 53, of Enfield who was reported missing around 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 9. Shelton Bank Robber Nabbed Thanks To Anonymous Tipster A Fairfield County man has been arrested for allegedly robbing a People's Bank branch after a tipster recognized him from a newspaper article. Shawn Fardy, age 52, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Wednesday, March 9 for the robbery which took on Tuesday, March 8 at the bank located inside the Stop & Shop at 898 Bridgeport Ave., in Shelton. Four Nabbed With Loaded Firearms Inside Springfield Convenience Store, Police Say Four men have been arrested for allegedly having loaded guns inside a convenience store in Western Massachusetts. Man Nabbed For Sexual Abuse Of A Child In Area A man has been arrested following a month-long investigation into the sexual abuse of a child in the Hudson Valley. Herald J. Bodensiek, age 64, of Edison, New Jersey, was arrested on Tuesday, March 8, following the investigation by the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office. Man Accused Of Threatening To Blow Up Building In Area, Police Say An area man who was mad at his social service caseworker allegedly threatened to blow up a building. Ulster County resident Evan Carlaw, age 47, of Kingston, was arrested on Friday, March 4, and charged with making a terroristic threat and aggravated harassment. Deputies arrested Carlaw after he became upset while speaking with a social service caseworker over the phone and then made threats to blow up the building, the Ulster County Sheriff's Office said. One Killed In Crash Involving School Bus, State Police Patrol Vehicle In Hudson Valley One person was killed during a crash in the Hudson Valley between a New York State Police patrol vehicle and a school bus.
