She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Police 'Concerned' About Missing Fairfield County Woman Police are asking the public for help locating a Fairfield County woman who has been missing for two days. Westport Police are searching for Tammy Lynn McQuillan, age 51, who is believed to have walked away from her from sometime after 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7, and hasn't been seen since, said Westport Police Lt. Jillian Cabana. McQuillan, who police say there are "concerned about,"  is described as being 5-foot-8, 300 to 350 pounds with dark hair. Three Vehicles Stolen From Fairfield County Auto Dealership, Police Say Three vehicles were stolen from a Fairfield County auto dealership. Stratford Police said officers responded to a reported burglary at Blasius South, a dealership at 280 Ferry Blvd., around 4 a.m., Sunday, August 1, after an unknown person or group of people forced their way into the business. Possibly three cars were stolen from the dealership, said Capt. Frank Eannotti.  He said the building was also damaged during the theft. The investigation is ongoing. CT State Police ID Man Found Shot To Death Inside Car In Wooded Area Police have identified a man whose body was found inside a vehicle in a wooded area of northern Connecticut. The body of Jason Comes, age 38, whose body was discovered in Tolland County in the town of Somers late Thursday, Aug. 5 on Durkee Road, Connecticut State Police announced. Somers is located near the Massachusetts border with Connecticut. Durkee Road is located about two miles from the Massachusetts border. Outdoor Electrical Fire Damages Fairfield County Home A Fairfield County home was damaged during an outdoor electrical fire. The Westport Fire Department Emergency Communications Center received a report of a house fire on Compo Road South at 12:45 pm Thursday, Aug. 5, said Fire Chief Robert Yost.  The residents of the home, including two children, were able to evacuate before the fire department responded. The incident took place around noon on Wednesday, Aug. 4 Ulster County in the Town of Lloyd.
