Homicide Investigation Underway After CT Man, 29, Found Dead In Car, Police Say Police are investigating the shooting death of a 29-year-old man who was found dead in the front seat of a vehicle in Connecticut. The shooting took place around 1:19 p.m., Monday, Aug. 9, in Hartford County at 20 Sterling St., in Hartford, said Rafael Medina III, assistant Chief of Police. Jet Skier Found Dead In Connecticut River CT Environmental Conservation Police officers are investigating a boating fatality believed to involve a single jet skier on the Connecticut River. The jet skier was found around 4:45 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 8, in Middlesex County in Haddam, after DEEP received calls from passing boaters of a jet ski adrift near the Salmon River boat launch, said Tony Russell, spokesman for DEEP. Jewelry Stolen In Fairfield County Home Burglary Police in Fairfield County are asking the public for help in connection with a residential burglary in which jewelry was taken. Ridgefield Police were notified of the burglary around 11:45 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 7, when they responded to Great Pond Road.
