DNA Match Leads To Arrest In Long Island Restaurant Burglary
A DNA match has led to the arrest of a man for allegedly entering a Long Island restaurant and stealing hundreds of dollars from the register.
Riqui Rodriguez, aka, Riqui Nunez, age 37, of Brooklyn, who is also suspected of other burglaries, was arraigned on Thursday, Aug. 5, for charges of burglary and criminal mischief, said Acting Nassau County District Attorney Joyce Smith.

Police ID Victims In Double-Fatal Hudson Valley Crash
State Police have released the identities of two Hudson Valley residents who were killed during a two-vehicle crash that also injured six others.
Orange County residents Nelson Vivarcampoverde, age 48, and passenger Maria Abrigo, age 36, both from Middletown, were killed around 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 4, following the crash on Route 17 in Wallkill, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
The crash involved a 2005 Ford Escape operated by Orange County resident Anthony K. Jones, age 24, of Walden, and a 2004 Toyota Sienna, operated by Vivarcampoverde.

Former Western Mass Resident Admits To Sham Marriage
A former area resident man has pleaded guilty in connection with entering into a sham marriage in order to obtain immigration benefits for another person.
Phu Thanh Huynh, age 33, formerly of Springfield, who pleaded guilty on Wednesday, Aug. 4, married a Vietnamese national, referred to as Jane Doe in September 2018, solely for the purpose of obtaining immigration benefits for Doe, said the US Attorney's Office for the District of Massachusetts.
According to the US Attorney, Huynh and Doe never lived together after getting married, and that a co-conspirator paid Huynh $20,000 in cash …
