Woman Falls 185 Feet Off CT Park Cliff While Hiking A hiker who fell 185 feet off a cliff in Connecticut was critically injured and airlifted to a local hospital. The incident took place in New Haven County around 12:25 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 3, in Meriden. Area Man Arrested For Rape Of Minor Following Investigation, Police Say An area man has been arrested for the alleged rape of a child under the age of 15. The New York State Police Catskill barracks arrested Ulster County resident Luis D. LI Woman Airlifted After Losing Control Of Her Vehicle, Hitting Cement Barrier, Police Say A 37-year old woman was injured after crashing her vehicle into a cement barrier on Long Island. The incident took place around 10:10 p.m., Monday, August 2, when the woman, driving a 2019 Ford sedan eastbound on Frowein Road at Montauk Highway left the road and struck a fence and a cement barrier in East Moriches, said the Suffolk County Police. The vehicle overturned and the woman was entrapped. After being freed, the woman was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
