LI Woman Airlifted After Losing Control Of Her Vehicle, Hitting Cement Barrier, Police Say A 37-year old woman was injured after crashing her vehicle into a cement barrier on Long Island. The incident took place around 10:10 p.m., Monday, August 2, when the woman, driving a 2019 Ford sedan eastbound on Frowein Road at Montauk Highway left the road and struck a fence and a cement barrier in East Moriches, said the Suffolk County Police. The vehicle overturned and the woman was entrapped. After being freed, the woman was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Man Follows Woman From NYC To Fairfield County, Attacks Her, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been nabbed for allegedly following a woman home from New York City and assaulting her. The incident ended on Wednesday, June 9, in Norwalk. An off-duty Norwalk Police Officer observed Andrew Delarosa, age 20, of Stamford, push the victim on the sidewalk, Norwalk PD Lt. Terrence Blake said. 21-Year-Old Nabbed For Pulling Fire Alarms At CT Restaurant, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been arrested for allegedly pulling multiple fire alarms at an area restaurant. Jamie Bonfietti, age 21, of Stratford, was arrested by Milford Police on Sunday, August 1, for breach of peace. According to Milford Police, Bonfietti was at the Stonebridge Restaurant, at 50 Daniel St., when multiple alarms were set off at the restaurant.  An investigation led to the arrest of Bonfietti who is accused of intentionally pulling the fire alarm when there was no emergency, police said.  He was released on a promise to appear ticket.

State Police Searching For CT Bank Robber, Asking Motorists To Avoid Area State Police are asking the public to avoid certain roadways in the area as they search for an alleged bank robber. The robbery took place in Litchfield County around 12:35 p.m., Monday, Aug. 2, at the Salisbury Bank located at 5 Gay St., in Sharon, state police said. Three Make Off With $8K, Mercedes After Fairfield County Home Invasion, Police Say Three people are on the run after allegedly stealing a safe with more than $8K in it and a Mercedes-Benz during a home invasion. The incident took place in Fairfield County on Saturday, July 31 on Palmer Street, in Bridgeport, said Scott Appleby, the city’s director of emergency communications and emergency management. Four Injured After Boats Collide On Long Island Four people were injured when two boats collided in the Great South Bay. The incident took place in Suffolk County around 11:14 p.m., Saturday, July 31, when the boats ran into reach others about a quarter-mile south of the Bay Shore Marina, said Suffolk County Deputy Fire Coordinator Jamie Atkinson.
