Police Searching For Dirt Bike Rider Involved In Hit-Run Fairfield County Crash Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash between an SUV and a dirt bike in Fairfield County that police believe injured the dirt bike driver who fled. The crash took. place around 6 p.m., Saturday, July 31 in Easton, on Eden Hill Road. The dirt bike was reported to be white and was riding with another white dirt bike when one of the bikes hit the SUV, according to Easton Police. Area Man Arrested For Sexually Assaulting Child Under 13, Police Say An area man was allegedly busted for sexually assaulting a child under the age of 13 following an investigation by the state police child abuse unit. Orange County resident Johnathan Diaz Flores, age 35, of Newburgh, was arrested on Thursday, July 29, after state police received a report on the Child Abuse Hotline, said New York State Trooper Steven Nevel. Following the report, an investigation was conducted and found that Diaz Flores "did engage in a course of sexual conduct with a child who was less than 13," state police said. CT Woman Shot Approaches Cop For Help, Police Say A middle-aged woman who was shot in Connecticut is expected to survive, but police are still searching for details surrounding the crime. The incident was uncovered around 8:30 a.m., Saturday, July 31, in Hartford County when a Hartford Police officer was approached by a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg in the area of 354 Woodland St. The victim, a female in her 50s, was transported to an area hospital for treatment, said Lt. Long Island Man Attacks Neighbor During Fight, Police Say A Long Island man was arrested after allegedly injuring his neighbor by throwing a bike at him and then breaking windows in two vehicles.  Isaias Cruz-Ramirez, age 20, was arrested on Thursday, July 29, by Southold Police following an argument with one of his neighbors on Ludlum Place in Greenport.  The argument turned violent and Cruz-Ramirez attacked his neighbor by throwing a bicycle at him causing physical injury to the person, police said.
