Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Former Broker From Long Island Accused Of Swindling $1M From Friends, Neighbors A former investment broker from Long Island has been accused of using a fake hedge fund to fleece friends and neighbors out of more than $1 million in a Ponzi scheme. Woman Killed, Three Others Injured In Two-Vehicle Long Island Crash A woman was killed and three others injured, one seriously, in a two-vehicle crash on Long Island. It happened on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at approximately 11:45 a.m. in Central Islip. A 2013 Hyundai Elantra was traveling eastbound on West Suffolk Avenue when the driver of the vehicle veered to the side of the road and struck the rear end of a parked flatbed truck, Suffolk County Police said. AccuWeather Releases Winter Weather Outlook For Region Long-range forecasters for AccuWeather have just released their projection for the winter of 2020-21. Senior Meteorologist Paul Pastelok said another overall mild winter is possible for much of the eastern United States. However, the entire season will not be mild all the way through in the Northeast. ID Released For Suffolk County Man Killed After Being Struck By Car On LIE The identity has been released of a man who was killed after being struck by a car overnight on the Long Island Expressway. It happened on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 8:50 p.m. in Jericho.
