Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Sedated Patient At Hospital A 44-year-old man is being accused of sexually assaulting a sedated patient at a hospital in Fairfield County, according to police. The investigation began after the incident on Saturday, Aug. 29 when a male patient, Rodney Daniels, of Stamford, was at Norwalk Hospital because of PCP usage. Man Seriously Injured After Being Struck By Car On Long Island A pedestrian was seriously injured in an overnight Long Island crash. It happened on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 10:40 p.m. in Elmont. While attempting to cross Meacham Avenue at E Street, a 66-year-old man was struck by 2007 Mazda that was being driven by a 59-year-old man, Nassau County Police said. The driver, who called 911, remained at the scene.  As a result of the collision, the pedestrian suffered multiple trauma injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Woman Killed In Fiery Long Island Crash A woman was killed in a fiery, single-vehicle crash on Long Island. It happened on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 4:10 p.m. in Roosevelt. Kayla Sarduy was last seen leaving her Manhasset home at 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26.  Kayla has brown hair and brown eyes.
