Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Long Island Man Critically Injured In Single-Vehicle Crash A Long Island man was critically injured in a single-vehicle early morning crash. Joseph Aiello, 43, was driving a 2001 Nissan Maxima in Port Jefferson Station southbound on Jayne Boulevard when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree at the intersection with Roe Avenue at approximately 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, Suffolk County Police said. The Norwalk Public School District said it was notified on Friday, Sept. 25 that a member of the Columbus Magnet School community tested positive. Man, Woman Shot During Altercation At Long Island Bar A man and woman were shot following an altercation at a Long Island bar that spilled outside into the parking lot, police said. One Killed In Three-Vehicle Westchester Crash One person was killed in a three-vehicle crash that caused the closure of a busy roadway in Westchester. It happened just after 9:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25 on the northbound Hutchinson River Parkway near Lincoln Avenue in Mount Vernon. A motorcyclist involved in the crash was thrown from the vehicle into the southbound lanes. Two cars were also involved and no other injuries were reported.
