Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Man, 23, Caught With Items Stolen From Vehicles, Wappinger State Police Say DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- State police from the Wappinger barracks have apprehended a 23-year-old Poughkeepsie man that they say was in possession of items stolen from vehicles. An investigation revealed that Christopher T. Fidelman was in possession of marijuana, as well as the items that had been reported stolen from vehicles, police said. Police Ask Help In Fatal Route 17M Two-Car Crash Investigation State Police are asking any witnesses to come forward as they investigate a fatal two-car crash that occurred at approximately 10:20 a.m. on Sunday on Route 17M in the Town of Wallkill. Dustin J. Mills, 30, of Middletown was operating a 2005 Honda Accord East on State 17M and Robinson Perez, 28, of New York City was driving a 2011 BMW SUV West on Route 17M when Perez left his lane of travel and struck Mills' vehicle in the east-bound lane of State Route 17M. Hudson Valley's Bob Wolff, Longest Running Sportcaster Ever, Dies At 96 Sportscasting legend and Hall-of-Fame broadcaster Bob Wolff, a longtime resident of South Nyack in Rockland County, has died. New Taconic State Parkway Detail Results In 67 Tickets Being Issued A total of 132 tickets were issued to motorists in a pair of separate occupant safety enforcement details Saturday and Sunday that were both held at the FDR State Park entrance off of the Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown. 65 Tickets Issued In Six-Hour Taconic State Parkway Detail A total of 65 tickets were issued on Saturday as New York State Police, in conjunction with the New York State Parks Police, conducted a child restraint checkpoint at the FDR Park entrance off of the Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown. Sixty of the tickets issued during the six-hour detail were for child restraint violations. Yorktown Community Rallies Behind Family After Mom, 49, Dies While Hiking The Yorktown community has come together to support the family of Tracey Doerr Lister, who died Monday from complications of heat stroke while hiking with her boys at Black Canyon National Park in Colorado. Lister, who grew up in Yorktown and was living in Colorado, was 49 years old and would have celebrated her birthday Friday, July 14.
