Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Police Identify SUV Driver Involved In Fatal Greenburgh Crash GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Police identified the 78-year-old driver on Wednesday of a Chevy Suburban truck that collided with a motorcycle last week. Greenburgh police said that James Gadson of Fairview was en route to his home on Old Tarrytown Road at 10:46 p.m. on Thursday when his SUV struck a 37-year-old motorcyclist. Andre J. Garcia of 33 Oak St. in White Plains was killed in the crash. No tickets have been issued to Gadson, police said.
