The remains of a 43-year-old Montgomery County mom Jennifer Brown were found wrapped in plastic and partially buried in a shallow grave on Wednesday, Jan. 18, authorities said. Holland Tunnel Closing Into NJ For 6 Nights A Week Through 2025
The New Jersey-bound side of the Holland Tunnel will be closing for six nights a week starting on Feb. 5 through 2025, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey announced this week. The project will fix damages caused more than a decade ago by Hurricane Sandy, and is similar to a project that began in April 2020 to take care of the same. That project will end on Feb. 4. A Bayonne High School faculty member and former varsity football coach was arrested on accusations he groped a 51-year-old colleague, authorities said. Ricardo Rodriguez became the center of an investigation when the female victim told police he went to hug after she unlocked a door for him, and he grabbed her chest and buttocks without consent around 8 a.m. at the high school on Jan. 9, Bayonne Police Capt. Family Game Night Ends In Slaying For Irvington Couple: Sources
Family game night took a turn for the worst when a woman stabbed her boyfriend dead overnight in Irvington, sources tell Daily Voice. Police were called to a home on the 100 block of Tichenor Terrace at about 2 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, where they found 35-year-old Haleem Youngblood with stab wounds, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Armed Robbers Antagonizing Taxi Drivers Nabbed In Prince George's: Police
A trio of robbers antagonizing taxi drivers in recent months have been arrested in Prince George's County, police said. Omar Hernandez and Jose Linares-Hernandez, both 20, of Adelphi, along with a 15-year-old juvenile, robbed various independent taxi service drivers in Langley Park between Dec. 12, 2022, and Jan. 12, county police said. Chinese Restaurant Shooting Kills 2, Injures 1 In Philadelphia
Two people were killed and a third wounded in a shooting at a Chinese restaurant in Philadelphia Tuesday, Jan. 17, authorities said. Gunfire rang out around 11:30 p.m. inside Shangri-La Chinese on the 5400 block of Chester Avenue, city police said. A 19-year-old man and 43-year-old woman were killed while a 20-year-old man was in critical condition as of Wednesday morning. No weapons were recovered and no arrests have been made. The investigation is active and ongoing with Homicide Detectives Division.

Missing Woman Found Dead On Roof Of Building: Nutley PD
A 74-year-old woman reported missing was found dead on the roof of a building, authorities in Nutley said. Police were called to Williams Street to help look for the victim, whose daughter reported her missing on Jan. 16, Police Director Alphonse Petracco and Chief Thomas Strumolo said. Police searched the apartment and building and found the woman unresponsive on the roof, they said. She was pronounced dead at the scene, and detectives were called in to investigate. The former Mansfield Township mayor has been charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old child for at least two months in Morris and Warren counties, authorities said. Ted J. Tomaszewski, 53, "engaged in multiple sex acts" with the victim in Mount Olive and Hackettstown between Nov. 1, 2022 and Jan. 2, 2023, according to a release from the Warren County Prosecutor's Office and Hackettstown police.
