In 2004, the Clifton resident dropped out of Montclair State University because he was offered a job with AOL. 'You're Going To Be A Dad!' Allentown Trench Collapse Victim Learns In Final Moments Of Rescue "You're going to be a dad!" Those were the words that the construction worker heard as he was being pulled out of the Allentown trench he'd been trapped inside for hours. The unnamed victim became trapped Wednesday, Jan. 11, while digging in the backyard of a home at 15th and Gordon streets when the trench caved in around 2 p.m., officials said. It took hours to get him out, but as they did around 10:15 p.m., his wife delivered the happy news, that she was pregnant with their first child, city officials said.

The checkerboard, turquoise and red diner will be located at 417 Paterson Ave., the former location of Flapjax, which closed in 2020. Police ID Teen Boy Killed In Philadelphia Shooting Authorities have identified the 16-year-old boy shot and killed Wednesday, Jan. 11 in Philadelphia. Semaj Richardson was found with a gunshot wound to the torso on the 1400 block of West Erie Avenue around 5:30 p.m., city police tell Daily Voice. He was taken by police to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 5:53 p.m. No weapon has been recovered and no arrest has been made. The investigation is active and ongoing with Homicide Detectives Division.

Brick Brandishing Philly Man Beats 67-Year-Old Victim On AC Boardwalk: Police A 43-year-old Philadelphia man was still holding the t-shirt he used to wrap around a brick and beat a 67-year-old woman with when Atlantic City police arrived at the scene, they said. A passerby intervened as Samuel Cooper struck the victim on the 2700 block of the boardwalk around 4:10 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 6, Atlantic City police said.
